“Just eat”, is what they say. But they don’t understand. An alcoholic can stay away from booze. A smoker can stop buying cigarettes. But for us, this is not an option. Food is not something you can “stop”. So next time you say “just eat”, keep in mind you’re asking an alcoholic to have a single sip multiple times a day with a full bottle of alcohol on his desk, a smoker to inhale only once with a full packet in reach. So no. “Just eating” is not an option.
